Description
Position: RN- PCU/MS Float (MUST be comfortable working ALL PCU and MS units
SCHEDULING DETAILS

• Shift Details: 3x12s, 645p-715a
• Charting: EPIC experience required
• Floating: Staffing needs are Re-evaluated every 4 hours, so traveler could float 2-3 times per shift (up to every 4 hours). May be required to float to CRCH to Inpatient Rehab
• Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes
• RTO: ALL requests must be included with the submission
*Unable to approve any Christmas RTO**
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
=========================
• ACLS, BLS
REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
=========================
• Experienced in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration
• Skilled in central line care, trach management, and non-invasive airway support including nasal cannula, CPAP/BiPAP, and chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac)
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, titrating cardiac drips, and responding to emergencies via Rapid Response/Code teams
• Capable of managing PCA and heparin protocols, administering IV insulin, and handling endocrine/metabolic conditions
• Background includes telemetry and stepdown-level care (PCU/DOU/IMC), with cardiovascular experience in pre/post cardiac cath settings
