Radiation Therapist – Utica, NY

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join the Radiation Oncology team in Utica, New York. This role requires expertise in delivering precise radiation treatments using advanced Varian technology, as well as strong knowledge of simulation and electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments using Varian 2300ix and Varian EDGE Truebeam systems.
Perform patient simulations with Siemens CT large bore equipment.
Document and manage patient records using ARIA and Epic EMR systems.
Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide compassionate care and support to patients and families throughout treatment.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

Current New York Radiation Therapist license.
Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred.
Proficiency with Varian treatment systems and Siemens CT simulation.
Experience with ARIA and Epic charting systems.
Strong communication and patient care skills.

Work Schedule

Shift Type: 8-hour Days.
Hours/Week: 37.5.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM (variable hours to accommodate patient schedules).
Start Date: December 15, 2025.
End Date: March 15, 2026.
Duration: 13 weeks.
Travel Rule: Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius; locals accepted at local rate.
