Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our patient care team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering respiratory assessment, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic interventions across a variety of patient populations. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments for patients of varying acuity levels.
- Provide respiratory support and treatment, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, nebulizer therapy, and airway management.
- Conduct diagnostic testing, including Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) and Cardiac Stress Testing.
- Deliver care across multiple patient populations including:
- Adult Critical Care
- Neonatal and Pediatric Care
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records.
- Assist providers in evaluating and adjusting respiratory treatment plans.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
- Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control policies.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential
- American Heart Association Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Adult Critical Care
- Experience in Neonatal & Pediatric Respiratory Care
- Experience performing Pulmonary Function Testing
- Experience in Cardiac Stress Testing
