Description
PLEASE READ!!!
LPN - PSYCH/BEHAVIORAL HEALTH - PEDIATRICS
- Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- THIS IS A PEDS UNIT – MUST BE COMFORTABLE AND EXPERIENCED!
- DO NOT SUBMIT IF THEY CAN'T START 12/8 – NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Candidates within 35 miles of facility = 10% rate decrease (include address or driver’s license in submission).
- Works with multidisciplinary team to identify individual & group needs and interventions.
- Utilizes nursing process for patients requiring complex nursing care.
- Provides clinical supervision of MHWs to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
- Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program: 24-hour care in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Focus: Helping patients maintain sobriety while managing co-occurring psychiatric issues (Depression, Bipolar, Anxiety, etc.).
- Team provides: high-quality intervention, medically assisted withdrawal, stabilization, education for recovery.
Submission requirements:
- MUST HAVE PEDIATRICS EXPERIENCE – REQUIRED
- 5 years LPN experience required (recent experience must be within last 3 months) – REQUIRED
- Psych/Behavioral Health experience & age groups MUST be listed on resume – REQUIRED
- Must be willing to float to other units & take charge LPN shifts – REQUIRED
- First-time travelers accepted
- Resume must list psych experience & age groups (e.g., Psych RN – Facility – Age Group/Population – Dates)
- RTO cannot exceed 7 days
- Psych skills checklist (within last year)
- 2 supervisory references from last 2 years
- Certifications (do not need to be active but must be willing to obtain; include CPI if they have it)
- 8 hours of NBO added to COA if CPI not active; CPI completed onsite
- License: confirm candidate is willing and eligible to obtain (must be included in profile)
- Driver’s license or address must be included (35 miles or less = rate decrease)
Additional requirements for all Brattleboro positions:
- CPI offered onsite; not required at submission
- On Call: Possible
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Certifications: BLS (AHA)
- State License: Vermont
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48
