PICU Floating requirements- all travelers will be expected to float to the various units within the children’s hospital, this can include the Pediatric ED, NNICU, inpatient departments, and Wini 1 (psych) as needed. When floating to these care areas travelers will be expected to take an assignment and care for the patients they are assigned. In each care area outside of the PICU we would recommend that travelers connect with the Charge RN if they have questions or need a brief orientation to the unit. Experience in cardiac critical care, CRRT and ECMO certs preferred Ratios: Avg 1:2 Years of experience REQ: 3 yrs First-timers accepted: Y Weekend REQ: Every other Certs REQ: PALS, BLS
