Position: RN – Telemetry Unit Manager

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Shifts: Monday–Friday (40 hrs/week)
Contract Type: Travel / Contract (13 Weeks)

Pay Breakdown (40-hour week):

Traveler Rates:
Hourly Rate: $85
Regular Pay (40 hrs): $3,400
OT Pay: As applicable
Stipend: $1,700
Weekly Total: $5,100

Local Rates:

Weekly $4,800.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Unit Manager (RN) to lead and oversee daily operations within a high-acuity Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, exceptional clinical skills, and the ability to manage staff, workflow, and patient care delivery at the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Telemetry unit, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance guidance to nursing staff.
• Develop and manage staffing schedules, assignments, and workflow.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Monitor clinical standards, compliance, and quality metrics within the unit.
• Support onboarding, training, and professional development of nursing staff.
• Manage unit performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Active California RN License (required)
• Minimum 5 years of Unit Manager experience (Charge Nurse experience does NOT count)
• Minimum 5 years of Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage staff, workflow, and high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced environment
