MED SURG MANAGER - RN – Days
Start Dates: 12/10 or 12/17
Orientation Dates: 12/10 or 12/17

• 13-week contract
• 5 x 8 ’s
• Shift: Days
• Works 40 hours a week
• Works every other weekend.
• Please speak to the candidate about punctuality as this is a city with heavy traffic (MUST be on time; poor attendance or tardiness will be subject to termination)
• Patient ratios (if known):
• Within the Guidelines of CA law
• Float Requirements: Maybe assigned for an off-site location within 10 miles radios from the medical center one week at a time
• Is RTO Accepted? What is the Max:
• Up to 4 days max RTO approved
• On-Call Requirement? NO
• Certs: BLS, LA County Fire Card
• License: Active CA RN License
• If CA License is expired, it will need to be renewed
• If applying for CA License, please call the Senators office to expediate the application.
• Experience:
• Required Work Experience: 2 years Manager experience
• Must have previous recent KP experience
• MUST have Inpatient Case Management experience
• Excellent and clear communication skillset required
• Hospital needs clear and meaningful communicators to improve their outcomes
• GQR proven performer highly preferred (set expectations that they will be busy, hit the ground running busy with very little orientation)
• Previous KP employees who were terminated will not be accepted for submission or placement
• Travel Experience not required
• Will accept local travelers
