Travel Pay Rate: (above 50 miles)

• Hourly:$24/hr W2 + $836/week (non - taxable stipend)
• Gross:$1,700/weekly

Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist supports surgeons and the OR team by ensuring a sterile environment, preparing surgical instruments, and assisting throughout procedures. This role requires precision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate surgical needs in a fast-paced operating room.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Set up the OR with sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist surgeons intraoperatively by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow all infection-control protocols.
• Conduct instrument and sponge counts with the RN.
• Handle specimens, prepare equipment, and assist with room turnover.

Required Qualifications:

• BLS, CST (required)
• NBSTSA (preferred)
• Active state license of CA
• Outpatient, Community Hospital, ORTHO, Neuro, Vascular EXPERIENCE required
• Minimum 1 years of experience.
