📣 CVOR RN — Midland, Michigan
Job Description
The CVOR RN provides high-quality perioperative care, ensuring patient safety throughout surgical procedures. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing patients & developing individualized care plans (40%)
- Supervising OR activity & coordinating schedules, assembling equipment, assisting anesthesia, and monitoring the sterile field (30%)
- Communicating with patients, families, physicians, OR team, supervisors, and ancillary departments (20%)
- Staff development through preceptorship, continuing education, and leadership opportunities (10%)
Schedule
- Day Shifts: 6:00 am–4:30 pm or 6:30 am–5:00 pm
- Staggered Shifts: 11:00 am–9:00 pm (as caseload dictates)
- Call: 1–2 nights/week + alternating weekends
- OT: As required by department
- Rotating/Staggered shifts required every third week
Call Rate: $7.00/hr
Requirements
- 3+ years CVOR/OR experience
- Open Heart experience required
- Travel experience required
- BLS (AHA) required
- Active Michigan RN license
Submission Requirements:
- Updated work history & skills checklist (within 1 year)
- 2 supervisory references (within 2 years)
- Permanent address (facility restricts local candidates within 50 miles)
