Description

Position: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
(Will float to Med-Surg/Telemetry as needed)

Location: Burlington, MA

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.); every other weekend and holiday rotation

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Education: ASN required

Required Experience:

  • PCU and Med/Surg experience
  • Titrating pressors and managing vasoactive drips
  • Managing patients on high-flow oxygen and BiPAP
  • Telemetry experience required
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant inpatient experience (at least 2 years in PCU or MS/Tele at a Level I Trauma facility)
  • Previous travel experience preferred

Requirements/Certifications:

  • Current Massachusetts RN license
  • BLS required
  • Must pass Telemetry test on first day of assignment (fail could result in assignment termination)

Float Requirement: Will float as needed to Med-Surg/Telemetry units
