Description
Job Summary – Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist
Shift: Nights – 4×10-hour shifts (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Location: No local candidates within 50 miles
Department: 702F Clinical Lab – Med Tech
Position Overview:
The Medical Laboratory Technologist/Scientist will perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis across multiple disciplines. This role is responsible for specimen processing, accurate test performance, result evaluation, and upholding laboratory quality standards. Candidates must be able to work independently in a clinical lab environment.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum: 2 years of experience within the specialty
- Required Certifications: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS
- Preferred Experience: Prior work in a clinical laboratory setting
- Note: Only Med Lab Technologists (MLT-S) & Medical Lab Scientists (MLS) will be considered.
Med Lab Technicians will NOT be considered.
Schedule:
- Shift: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Shift Type: 4×10 hours
- Contract: 13 weeks
Holiday Requirements:
Must work 1 Major Holiday (of the following):
- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Day
And 1 Minor Holiday (of the following):
- Christmas Eve
- New Year’s Eve
