Description:CSFA - 10 HR Days - 

UNC Health Pardee - Hendersonville, NC ***The CFSA must be credentialed to the same standards as an advanced provider. Due to the urgent need at the facility for this modality the CMO at Pardee is working to fast track FA's through the privilege process for a 12/22/2025 start date. Standard traveler compliance will still be applicable.***Contract length: 13 weeksGSA: up to 36 hours per week. Hours not guaranteed week of orientation or during the holidays where the unit is closed.**Facility can cancel one shift biweekly without penalty**Orientation: the first week of orientation will be 5-8hr day shiftsShift: 10hr Days 0645-1715, Attending morning huddle at 0645Float Requirement: NoneOn Call/Call Back Requirements: Weekend call - Saturday at 7 am to Monday at 7 am (approx. every 6 weeks)Weeknight call- clinician will be assigned (1) weeknight of call per week from 7p-7a.Holiday: (1) 24-hour call once per contract. Recognized holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Christmas DayStaff Meeting: 4th week of every monthRequired Certifications to be attached upon submittal: CSFA Certification (NBSTSA), and AHA BLSRequired CURRENT Experience: STRONG ORTHO BACKGROUNDTotal Joints, Orthopedics (multitude of cases), Spine, Urology, Endo, General Surgery, and No Heart or Brain Surgery Minimum Experience: 1 -2 years based on trauma level experience and must have completed 2 travel assignments Charting Experience Required: noneHard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates10 ORs, 3 Procedure Rooms REQUIRED EDUCATION:Associate Degree or Certificate PREFERRED EDUCATION:Associate Degree or Certificate
