Description

Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights

Facility:  Regional Medical Center - West
Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 601000
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7p–7a)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Orientation: 12 hours
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years ICU experience

Job Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
  • License: Active AZ RN  or Compact license
  • Schedule:
    • Two weekend shifts per pay period
    • Schedules released 4 weeks in advance
    • Partial self-scheduling; final approval by manager

       

  • Ratios:
    • ICU: 1:1–2 per acuity/staffing
    • PCU: 1:3–4
  • Holiday Requirements:
    • Winter: required to work 1 holiday and one holiday eve
  • Call Requirements:
    • No scheduled call
    • Possible low-census call ~1 time every 6 weeks
  • Floating:
    • Traveler participates in float rotation with core staff
    • May float to PCU, MST, and EC ICU/PCU based on need
