The Correctional Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated individuals in a secure facility during the overnight shift. This role ensures the health and safety of patients while adhering to correctional healthcare standards and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments, administer medications, and provide emergency care as needed.
• Monitor and document patient conditions accurately in compliance with facility and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with correctional officers and healthcare team to maintain a safe environment.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and triage situations effectively.
• Educate patients on health management and preventive care within the correctional setting.

Weekly- $2080.00

Night Shift: 10:45pa-7:15a- Guaranteed 40

Correctional Setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of an RN or provider
• Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and status changes
• Assist with ADLs and ongoing patient assessments
• Maintain accurate, timely charting
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control procedures
