Description

Experience: 3 years
First-time traveler: No
Required Certifications for RN: BLS, ACLS; NIHSS (preferred)
Required Certifications for RTR: BLS, ACLS, WI License; RCIS (preferred)
Skills required for RN and RTR: Cath Lab and Peripheral cases listed above. Hybrid experience preferred but not required
Skills required for RN: Conscious sedation, titrating/managing drips
Skills required for RTR: Scrubbing, panning
Floating: None
Orientation: 1 week of orientation
Weekend rotation: Sometimes travelers will be scheduled weekends, but it's usually just call
Weekday call time: Shift will be 1200-2030 if it's their call day; call will be end of shift until the following morning at 0600
Will be on call from Friday-Friday (so 7 days of call) every 2-3 months. May not have to take call all of those 7 days though
30 minutes response time
SHIFT: Rotating (See Notes) (40)
SHIFT INFORMATION: Day/PM rotation with occasional weekend shifts. Call required as needed for the department.
ON CALL, CALL BACK REQUIREMENTS: Occasional weekday and/or weekend call coverage. Fill in gaps from permanent staff.
WEEKEND ROTATION: Occasional Saturday or Sunday shifts; Call coverage per dept needs.
HOLIDAY REQUIREMENTS: Possible holiday may be needed.
FLOATING REQUIREMENTS: None
