Job Title: Travel RN – Psychiatric/Behavioral Health (Day Shift) Location: Copper Springs, Avondale, AZ Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Contract Type: Travel Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (with potential for extension)

Job Summary: AngelsGate Healthcare Services LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in the Psychiatric/Behavioral Health unit at Copper Springs in Avondale, Arizona. The ideal candidate will provide safe, therapeutic care to patients with behavioral health needs, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and thrive in a supportive, team-based environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a psychiatric/behavioral health setting
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
• Support patients through crisis intervention and therapeutic communication
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, coping strategies, and discharge instructions
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent psychiatric/behavioral health experience
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong communication, de-escalation, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
