The ideal candidate will provide safe, therapeutic care to patients with behavioral health needs, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and thrive in a supportive, team-based environment.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide direct nursing care to patients in a psychiatric/behavioral health setting</li><li>Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately</li><li>Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans</li><li>Support patients through crisis intervention and therapeutic communication</li><li>Educate patients and families on treatment plans, coping strategies, and discharge instructions</li><li>Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards</li><li>Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state</li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent psychiatric/behavioral health experience</li><li>Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)</li><li>Strong communication, de-escalation, and critical thinking skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team</li><li> </li></ul>
