Position Overview

A skilled Physical Therapy Assistant is needed for a 13-week contract within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role includes a guaranteed 30 hours per week and offers an opportunity to support patients in regaining strength, mobility, and independence under the direction of licensed physical therapists.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and mobility training.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in accordance with facility protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the care team to support patient goals and outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• Active California PTA license (must be current and in good standing).
• Minimum Experience: 1 year preferred.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as required by the facility.
