Med Surg / Acute Rehab RN – Mt. Ascutney Hospital (VT)

Position Overview

Specialty: Med Surg / Med Surg Rehab
Shift: Not specified (standard unit shifts apply)
Weekend: Every other weekend
Holidays: Required as needed
Float: May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg
EMR: Cerner
Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:4–5
Average Census: ~22 patients

Requirements

2+ years recent Med Surg Rehab experience
Charge RN experience required
Previous travel experience (minimum 1 assignment)
ACLS & BLS (AHA)
Active Vermont RN License
Must have a personal vehicle (small community, no public transportation)
RTO: All RTO MUST be included at submission (max 5 days)

Not Eligible

Local travelers (within 50 miles)
Travelers needing block scheduling
Travelers working another job/contract at the same time

Expectations

May serve as backup Charge Nurse
Provide total patient care, patient/family teaching, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team
Must meet professional nursing standards and contribute to a positive clinical environment
