Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a temporary assignment. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while exploring new clinical settings and locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide therapy to improve communication skills, cognitive function, and safe swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy techniques and progress.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• License: Current and valid state license (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the assignment state.
• Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience in speech therapy (experience in schools, acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred).
• Travel experience preferred but not required.
