Unit Specifics: None provided. Additional Requirements: Must be a seasoned traveler with several years of OR experience. No first-time travelers will be considered. Facility handles a high volume of craniotomies and spinal trauma (“broken backs”), so the traveler must be fully confident and independent in emergency neurosurgery cases. Assignment Details: Length: 26 weeks License: Active Kansas RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 0630 to 1900 Role Summary: RNs will participate in a broad range of surgical cases, including routine, urgent, and trauma procedures. Responsibilities will include care throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases. On-Call Requirements: May include up to: (2) 7a–11a calls per month (2) 7p–7a calls per month (2) 7a–7a weekend call shifts per month Holiday Call: 1 working holiday + 1 call shift per year (typically 8 hours each) Additional Information: OT begins at 48 hours (if scheduled).
