Description

Requirements

Nursing Diploma or associate’s degree (BSN preferred)
Active RN License (GA or Compact State)
BLS Certification (AHA)
Minimum 1+ years of oncology nursing experience
Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and safety standards

Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, antineoplastic agents, and other hazardous drugs safely and accurately.
Provide patient-centered care, education, and support to oncology patients and their families.
Monitor patients during and after infusion for any adverse reactions or complications.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with clinical guidelines, USP standards, and Wellstar policies.
Serve as a resource and mentor for new nurses; participate in continuous education and professional development.
