Cath Lab RN – Job Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years RN experience
Cath Lab experience required
IR experience preferred (or willing to learn)

Licenses

Active state RN license (state-specific; required to submit)
Driver’s License required (due to 60-mile radius rule)

Certifications

BLS
ACLS

Education

BSN not required

Skills / Must-Have

Ability to circulate and monitor cath/IR cases
Experience with pre- and post-procedure patient care
Ability to perform pre/post procedure patient calls
Experience with common cardiac diagnoses: STEMI, NSTEMI, pacemakers
EMR proficiency in Epic
Experience with MacLab and Siemens equipment preferred

Shift / Call Requirements

4x9 day shifts
Call required:
- ~10 weekday calls/month
- Every 3rd weekend (Fri–Sun)
- Holiday call (1 major summer + 1 major winter)
30-minute call response time

Orientation

12 hours + unit orientation (must be in-state for the orientation week)

Other Requirements

Must live within 60 miles
Scrubs: Hospital-provided blues
No floating to other facilities
