Description

Perform nerve conduction studies and assist physicians with needle EMG examinations in both laboratory and bedside settings
Assemble, disassemble, and maintain EMG equipment for each patient case, ensuring optimal function and cleanliness
Demonstrate expertise in electrode placement and operation of neurodiagnostic equipment
Record, interpret, and differentiate between normal and abnormal responses during EMG testing
Accurately enter data into electronic health records and support hospital billing processes
Compile monthly statistics and contribute to departmental reporting and quality improvement
Teach and precept co-workers and students in neurodiagnostic technology as needed

Monday - Friday 7am-3pm, no weekends Minimum 1 year of experience as an EMG Technologist, Neurodiagnostic Technologist, or related clinical support role Demonstrated ability to collaborate with physicians, healthcare administrators, and multidisciplinary staff Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a hospital environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and electronic health records (EHR) Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, patient history, and EMG procedures
