Stepdown/PCU RN - Level II
Start Date: 12/15/2025
Schedule: D/E/N Rotating - Weekends, Holidays, On-Call/Callback, Charge per Unit Needs

About the Role:
We are seeking a Level II Registered Nurse with Stepdown/PCU experience to join a high-acuity stroke and neurosurgery unit. This nurse will provide safe, competent care while demonstrating leadership skills, professional development, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

The RN will assume expanded responsibilities, including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee participation.

Qualifications & Requirements:
✅ Stepdown/PCU Experience
✅ BLS & ACLS (AHA only)
✅ High-acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required
✅ Telemetry experience required
✅ Active New York RN License
✅ Minimum two (2) years RN experience
✅ Experience with: Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, 3% NS and Cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil/clips, DBS insertion, VP shunts, seizure management
