Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Shift Details

Shift: 3×12-hour shifts
Block Scheduling: Not allowed

Call Requirements

None

Weekend Requirement

Every other weekend (2 weekends per month)

Time Off (RTO) Policy

Maximum 5 days total
No more than 2 consecutive days
No holiday RTO
No RTO the day before or after a holiday
No weekend RTO

Floating Requirements

Mandatory float facility (Cook County)
ICU RNs will float between:
- Burn ICU
- CCU
- Medical ICU
- SICU
- Neuro ICU
May float to Med-Surg units if needed
Orientation Week: First week (orientation + precepting) will be on day shift

Guaranteed Hours

36 hours/week

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years recent acute care ICU experience

Certifications

BLS
ACLS
NIHSS

Licensure

Pending licenses NOT accepted

Locals

Locals accepted and preferred
Must live within 75 miles of the facility
