Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) – 5th Floor

Unit Information

Unit: IMCU – 5th Floor
Ratios:
- Standard 4:1, depending on acuity
- May increase to 5:1 if patient acuity is lower

Requirements

Licensure

Active NY RN license

Experience

Minimum 2 years IMCU or similar step-down experience

Clinical Skills Required

Drip experience with:
- Norepinephrine (Neo) up to 100 mcg/min
- Precedex
- Insulin drips
- Appropriate for IMCU-level care

Certifications

BLS
ACLS
NIHSS

Charting

Epic required

RTO (Time Off) Restrictions

Maximum 7 days total
Only 1 holiday allowed
