Description

Required: BLS

Required Work Setting Experience: General OR, Teaching Hospital, Trauma.

Required Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT)

Skills/Experience: Direct Laryngoscopy, Radial neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy.

Required Endoscopic Procedure Skills/Experience: Colonoscopy, EGD, Peg tube placement/exchange.

Required General Surgery Skills/Experience: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection - Open/LAP, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy partial/total.

Required Gynecology Case Skills/Experience: Abdominal hysterectomy, Anterior/Posterior repair, Bilateral tubal ligation, Dilation & Curettage, Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures, Vaginal Hysterectomy. Required Neurosurgery Case Skills/Experience: Craniotomy, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion.

Required Oral Case Skills/Experience: Repair of fractured jaws, mandibular and zygomatic.

Required Orthopedic Case Skills/Experience: Arthroscopy, Arthrotomy, Carpal tunnel release, Closed/Open reduction of fractures, Laminectomy/discectomy.

Required Plastic Surgery Case Skills/Experience: Free Flap - Microvascular. Required Trauma Case Skills/Experience: Amputations, Gunshot/stab wounds, MVA (multiple injuries). Required Urology Skills/Experience: Cystoscopy,
Laparoscopic assisted cases, Nephrectomy, Ureteroscopy.

Required Equipment/Instrumentation/Supplies Skills/Experience: Drills (multiple types), Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic Technique, Isolation Precautions, Radiation Safety, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/Labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure
