Job Description: ICU RN (Nights)

Shift: 12-hour nights
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Locals: Accepted for one contract
Pending License: Not accepted
Holiday Coverage: Required as needed

Unit Details:
• Average daily census: 8
• Total beds: 12
• Patient population includes stroke, cardiac (cardioversion and pacemakers, no open heart), and a high number of overdose cases
• Adult and geriatric patient populations
• Special procedures include central line placement, bronch, and PEG tube
• Step-down unit: 8 beds (not always open)

Float Expectations:
• Required to float within scope
• Possible float to Med Surg/Telemetry, medical unit, surgical unit, or intermediate care
• MS/Tele and medical/surgical ratios: 1:5–6

Required Certifications:
• ACLS
• BLS
