Respiratory Therapist (2 years)

Description

Facility name- Select Specialty Hospital - Belhaven

Experience

Previous hospital respiratory therapy experience (exact years not listed)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with:
- Mechanical ventilation (invasive & non-invasive)
- Emergency airway management
- Chest physiotherapy & secretion clearance
- EKG & arrhythmia recognition
- Arterial blood gases (ABG)
- Pulmonary function tests (NIF, VC, etc.)
- Trach care, suctioning, and tube management
- Assisting with bronchoscopy, chest tubes, and respiratory-related procedures

Certifications (Required)

BLS
ACLS
RRT / CRT (depending on facility requirement—usually RRT strongly preferred)
