Description
Unit Description: 24 Beds. Cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputees, spinal cord injuries, deconditioning, neurological diseases
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Each patient has a care team assigned to them. A physiatrist, NP, nurse, 2 therapist (depending on need which 2 they are), and social worker. The team collaborates to create a plan for the patient. Therapy works with the pt's 3 hours a day M-F. LOS is around 2 weeks.
Orientation held every other week on Thursday
Certs Required: BLS (must be AHA), acute care rehab preferred
Ratio: Days 1:4/5, Nights 1:5/6
Experience Required: 2 Years of RN Experience Required; 1 Year in-specialty Experience required; Charge exp preferred
Submission Requirements:
Candidate profile (work history), Specialty specific skills checklist, Min. 2 Mgr/Charge References (within past 2yrs.), RN Lic. verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date – clean lic. required, Driver's License, SSN
