Job Title: Travel RN – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Facility: Havasu Regional Medical Center (HRMC), Lake Havasu City, AZ Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PMOverview: Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural anesthesia, ensuring safe transitions and optimal outcomes.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Monitor patients’ vital signs and recovery status following anesthesia.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including pain management.</li><li>Assess patient readiness for discharge or transfer to inpatient units.</li><li>Provide patient and family education regarding post-operative care and recovery.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.</li><li>Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.</li><li>Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Current RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state eligibility.</li><li>Minimum of 2+ years of recent PACU or critical care experience required.</li><li>BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.</li><li>Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment.</li></ul>Assignment Details:<ul><li>Travel contract position</li><li>Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM</li></ul>
