Job Overview 

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room RN Travelers for 13-week contracts at Rhode Island Hospital (Level I Trauma Center) in the Providence, RI area. Multiple start dates available: 12/8, 12/22, 1/5. 36- or 48-hour options.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, assess, and provide nursing care according to hospital mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures.
• Deliver high-quality care with professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, and good public/customer relations.
• Complete applicable hospital and department-specific RN competencies within 3 months of hire/transfer.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Provide patient and family education to support optimal outcomes.

Qualifications Required:

• Active Rhode Island RN license (or compact)
• Recent Level I or high-volume ED experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA)
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Schedule

• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week – 12-hour night shifts
• Every-other-weekend required
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start dates: 12/8, 12/22, or 1/5
• Cancellation policy: Up to 3 shift call-offs per contract
