Job Description: Dialysis Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Overview

We are seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a tertiary care hospital in New York. This role requires a current NY license and EPIC charting experience. The position offers exposure to a large, dynamic healthcare environment with 528 staffed beds.

Key Details

• Shift Options: 4x10-hour shifts (07:00–17:00 or 11:00–21:00)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other Saturday (facility closed Sundays)
• On-Call Coverage: Up to 4 overnight shifts during assignment
• Holiday Coverage: Must be available for one winter holiday and select others
• Start Date: December 23, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Locals: Must reside more than 75 miles from facility
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Scrub Color: Navy and white combinations permitted

Responsibilities

• Provide dialysis care to patients in accordance with hospital protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent patient needs
• Support continuity of care across shifts and weekends

Qualifications

• Active NY RN license (required)
• Minimum of 1 year dialysis nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and on-call coverage
