Description

Location: Waterloo, IA
Shift: 8-hour days (12:30 PM - 8:30 PM)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Type: Travel Contract

Key Responsibilities

Perform all types of vascular ultrasound exams including carotid, venous, arterial, and abdominal Doppler studies
Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure optimal imaging quality and patient comfort
Analyze results and collaborate with physicians regarding vascular findings
Document imaging results accurately in the EMR system
Uphold department protocols, quality control procedures, and infection prevention measures

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a vascular sonographer
ARDMS certification with RVT credential (or CCI equivalent)
Comprehensive knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathophysiology
Strong communication, attention to detail, and technical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
