Job Title: Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Facility: Canyon Vista Medical Center, Sierra Vista, AZ Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AMOverview: Canyon Vista Medical Center is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care in a fast-paced acute care environment.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.</li><li>Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and responses to interventions.</li><li>Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.</li><li>Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.</li><li>Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health management.</li><li>Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Current RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state eligibility.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required.</li><li>BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.</li><li>Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-oriented environment.</li></ul>Assignment Details:<ul><li>Travel contract position</li><li>Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM</li></ul>
