Role Summary & Responsibilities:

Arnot Ogden Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry and Med-Surgical care. This position requires a dedicated professional to manage and monitor patients requiring continuous cardiac and vital sign observation on the 4B Telemetry unit.

The Med-Surg Tele Nurse is responsible for comprehensive patient care, including:

Continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
Administering medications, including IV drips, and managing patient pain control.
Providing post-operative and acute medical care typical of a Medical-Surgical environment.
Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Educating patients and families on disease processes, medication management, and discharge planning.

Candidates must have at least two years of recent experience in a Telemetry or Med-Surgical/Telemetry setting.
