Job Description: Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Travel Assignment

Location

Minot, North Dakota

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours per week (5x8 day shifts)
• Locals: Not accepted (50-mile radius rule applies)
• Travel Experience: Recent travel experience required
• Charting System: Cerner strongly preferred

License and Certifications

• ARRT or NMTCB registered (or registry pending)
• NDMIRTBE licensed or temporary license accepted

Experience Requirements

• Graduate of Nuclear Medicine School or ARRT Registered Technologist
• Working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Ability to start IVs for contrast administration
• Experience with proper charging of procedures in hospital information systems
• Ability to adapt to new protocols and equipment as purchased
• Familiarity with “garden variety” imaging; stress tests, HIDA, bone scans, and PET/CT experience helpful but not required

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine studies, including preparation, measurement, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals under Radiologist direction
• Conduct quality control and calibration testing on cameras and radiation measuring equipment per hospital policy
• Follow radiation safety techniques in the receipt, use, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Organize and perform daily work to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of exams

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of Nuclear Medicine experience
• Strong technical skills with imaging equipment and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving clinical needs
