BLS,NIHSS,ACLS RN compact/state license , Covid Card/exemption

Blocked Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6p-6:30a,

ICU RN – Unit Notes

Shift:

Blocked schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Important Requirement:

Clinician MUST complete DS and Health items within 3 days of offer acceptance.
Please ensure candidates are aware and confirm they will comply.

Respiratory failure
Sepsis
STEMI
Post-tPA stroke
Overdose / suicide attempts
Various shock states
Heart blocks
COVID

Additional Unit Details

14-bed ICU
Intensivist readily available; tele-med critical care camera and alert in every room
ED physician and hospitalist in-house 24/7
RN Ratios:
- ICU: 1:2
- Step-down: 1:3

Float Requirements

ICU RNs may float to Telemetry as needed
May also be asked to float to Med-Surg
Please confirm candidate is comfortable with this

Certifications Required

ACLS
NIHSS
PALS

Testing & Screening

IV skills test and medication test on first day
Additional physical and drug screen scheduled the week prior to start
