Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse passionate about providing exceptional care during one of life's most pivotal moments? Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our dynamic team. This is an outstanding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of mothers and families in Southeast Iowa, all while working in a state-of-the-art facility committed to quality and community service.

What You'll Bring:

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with some travel or cross-site exposure
Valid Iowa SING BG clearance (Child Abuse & Criminal Background checks required—NO exceptions)
Fully cleared background checks across counties and states prior to start
Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult)
Current 10-panel drug screening including opiates
Titers within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
Ability to start on either Monday or Tuesday, with availability for 36 to 48 hours per week

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience working in a hospital setting with active labor and postpartum care
Proficiency with fetal monitoring equipment such as Philips Tracevue
Comfortable floating within hospital units as needed
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with a diverse patient population

Educational & Experience Requirements:

Registered Nurse license in good standing
1-2 years of relevant labor and delivery experience preferred

Additional Details:

Shift: 7am to 7pm, with every other weekend
No call requirements
Full-time opportunity with guaranteed weekly hours
Team-oriented environment focused on patient-centered care
Dress code: Scrubs (colors to be specified by unit protocols)
