ACLS, BLS, NIHSS RN pa compact/state  covid card/exemption

Shift Notes

Mostly Days, but could be asked to work some nights

Cardiac experience required

This position is on a Telemetry/Med-Surg Cardiac unit, with the possibility of floating to Rehab/Skilled Nursing as needed.

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: 12/29
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Primary Shift: Days (may be required to work occasional nights)

Patient Population / Unit Overview:
This telemetry unit manages a variety of higher-acuity cardiac and pulmonary patients. Nurses must be competent in caring for:

• Chest pain patients
• Heart failure (CHF)
• COPD
• Post–cardiac catheterization patients
• Post–pacemaker insertion patients
• Stroke patients
• NSTEMI and STEMI patients following ICU transfer

The unit also admits general medical patients; however, nurses must be fully capable of caring for the cardiac and neuro patients listed above.
