Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Assignment

Location: Memphis, TN 

Start Date: January 5, 2026 

Job Duration: 13 weeks 

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) 

Weekend Requirement: As needed (weekend block may be considered) 

Local Radius Rule: 100 miles (locals not accepted) 

Pending License: Not accepted – must be in compliance with NLC guidelines 

RTO: All requests must be included at time of submission

Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide advanced respiratory care to patients across diverse age groups, including pediatrics. This role requires strong clinical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to manage high-acuity cases in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy services to patients, including pediatric populations
• Operate and manage respiratory equipment safely and effectively
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital standards
• Respond to emergent situations promptly and effectively

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (CRT not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience (3+ years required for first-time travelers)
• Active Tennessee license at time of submission
• Driver’s license must be included with submission
• Pediatric experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Flexibility to work variable weekend schedules
• Strong background in pediatric and adult respiratory care
