Position: RN – Behavioral Health

Summary:
Denver Springs is seeking an RN to float across all four behavioral health units within a 96-bed acute stabilization facility. The RN provides safe, therapeutic care to adolescent and adult psychiatric patients, utilizing strong de-escalation skills and clinical judgment. Responsibilities include patient assessments, coordination of care, CIWA/COWS monitoring (preferred), documentation in HCS, and responding to unit needs across all patient populations.

Unit/Patient Details:

• Units: Adolescent (13–17), Adult Mental Wellness, Adult Acute, Adult Dual Diagnosis/SUD
• Ratios: ~1:12 (Adolescent, Adult Mental Wellness, Adult Acute); ~1:10 (Dual Diagnosis/SUD)
• Average LOS: 7–10 days
• Float: Required to all units

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Behavioral health experience preferred
• Strong de-escalation skills (required)
• Ability to perform CIWA/COWS (preferred)
