🧠 Key Responsibilities

• Assist Neuro Techs with NCVs and other clinical procedures
• Perform EEGs per lab standards, ensuring accuracy and excellent signal quality
• Explain EEG procedures clearly to patients and families, ensuring comfort and understanding
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, functionality, and proper calibration
• Obtain detailed and accurate patient histories
• Produce complete EEG reports with emphasis on clinical observations
• Recognize, monitor, and eliminate artifacts; perform activation procedures (e.g., hyperventilation)
• Respond appropriately to patient emergencies and follow infection-control standards
• Understand how medications can impact EEG results

• Verify MD orders and confirm patient identity before testing

• 2+ years EEG/Neurodiagnostic experience – Required
• EMG/Neuro experience – Required
• ABRET certification – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
