Description

💼 Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technologist

🕒 Job Type: Full-Time
🏥 Department: Laboratory
📍 Location: Ashland, WI
🎁 Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 – $15,000
🚚 Relocation Assistance: $5,000
💵 Pay Range: $30/hr – $38/hr
📅 Schedule Options:

8-hour shifts (5 days/week)
10-hour shifts (4 days/week)
12-hour shifts (3 days/week)

Responsibilities & Duties:

Perform routine and specialized laboratory work across various divisions.
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Assist in training new lab employees, student technicians, and aides.
Take weekend back-up call on a rotational basis.
Utilize LIS functions for smooth day-to-day operations.
Complete annual competency assessments for all performed test methods.
Participate in performance improvement activities.
May serve as section head per CLIA requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
✔ ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
✔ Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards.
✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
✔ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
