CVICU RN – Days Pikeville Medical Center – Pikeville, KY 75-Mile Radius Rule Applies Position Details: • Contract Length: 10 weeks • Start Date: ASAP • Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week • Location: Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY • Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Blocked schedules only considered for weekend rotation On-call: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM every other weekend (Sat & Sun) Float Requirements: • CVICU RNs may float to Med Surg or ICU (with lower ratios) • May float throughout all inpatient areas • May be assigned aide-level tasks if needed Weekend/Holiday Requirements: • Every other weekend and holiday unless pre-approved for time off Required Certifications (must be submitted): • Active KY or Compact RN License • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS • EKG test required during compliance Experience Requirements: • Minimum 4 years CVICU experience • Level I or Level II Trauma experience required • Charting: CareView/EPIC preferred (EPIC effective June 1) – on-site training provided Required Skillset: • Strong Level I/II CVICU competencies • Hardworking, resilient, adaptable, team-oriented, and reliable Unit Information: • 340-bed Level II Trauma Center • CVICU Beds: 59 • Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 Scrub Color: Royal Blue COVID-19 Requirements: • Vaccination required unless an approved medical/religious exemption is provided • Accepted exemptions require weekly testing at traveler/agency expense Additional Notes: • GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week • Weekly guaranteed hours apply except during facility-observed holidays when the unit is closed
