Description

Duties

  • Perform general X-ray exams, portables, trauma imaging, OR cases, and fluoro (night shift may not perform fluoro).
  • Provide imaging support in a Level III trauma environment; manage high patient volumes (~170/day across department).
  • Transport own patients and maintain workflow with X-ray team, hospitalists, RT, and radiologists.
  • Use EPIC EMR, Change Healthcare PACS, Siemens X-ray/fluoro equipment, and Shimadzu portables.
  • Follow department policies, maintain safety, infection control, and radiation protection standards.
  • Complete documentation and support continuity of care with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attend NEO and unit orientation (approx. 1 week).

Qualifications

  • ARRT (R), BLS, and Washington State Radiologic Technologist license required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience acceptable ONLY if from a large Level III+ facility with trauma, OR, and general X-ray experience.
