<h2><strong>Duties</strong></h2><ul><li>Perform general radiography exams independently in the Emergency Department and inpatient units (adult + pediatric).</li><li>Complete portable X-rays using Carestream units; operate Fuji equipment in the ED.</li><li>Handle variable caseload driven by ED and inpatient volume.</li><li>Document exams in <strong>Epic</strong>; maintain accuracy and compliance with department standards.</li><li>Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.</li><li>Function within a Level I trauma environment and support rapid-turnover imaging needs.</li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li><strong>ARRT (R) and State of Connecticut license required</strong> (pending accepted but must be active before start).</li><li><strong>Minimum 2 years experience</strong> (1.5 acceptable with Level I trauma or prior travel experience).</li><li>Experience performing general radiography, ED imaging, and inpatient portables for pediatric and adult patients.</li><li>Proficiency with Carestream portable units, Fuji ED equipment, and PACS workflow.</li><li><strong>BLS required.</strong></li></ul>
