ICU RN – Nights (4×12 | 19:00–07:30) Location: Chesapeake, VA – Coastal Virginia Notes: AUTO OFFER | Must have strong NEURO experience Key Requirements License: Active VA or Compact RN license at time of submission (no exceptions) Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), NIHSS Experience: Strong neuro background required (post-neurosurgical, EVD, stroke) Vents, IV drip titration, dysrhythmia & emergency management Telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation 3+ years critical care preferred; strong candidates considered without Travel experience preferred Systems: EPIC proficiency required Local rule: Candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility (DL required for verification) Background/License: Zero hits accepted — must be completely clear Job Details Shift: Nights, 4×12 (19:00–07:30) Weekend: Every other weekend Float: ICU → Stepdown; may float to ED/MedSurg for ICU hold patients Holiday: Required if within contract OT: OT after 48 hours on 4×12 schedules Contract: 48-hour option available; indicate candidate preference Ratios ICU: 1:2–3 Patient Population Neurosurgical & post-stroke Respiratory failure Renal failure Post-surgical Sepsis & MODS Trauma Heart failure & post-cath Submission Requirements Qualivis submission form Current NURSYS report Driver’s license for radius verification
