Cath Lab Tech – Day Shift (5×8 | 08:00–16:30) Location: MUSC – Charleston, SC Shift Details: Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Caseload: Varies by daily volume Weekend/On-Call: Yes; rotation includes Friday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM Float: May float to EP as needed Local Rule: Candidates must live within 30 minutes for STEMI on-call response Locals Accepted: No (travelers must live 60+ miles away) Requirements Experience: Minimum 1 year Cath Lab + EP experience First-time travelers accepted if requirements met Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R) with SCRQSAR or CCIR/CCISC with SCRQSA Skills/Experience: Cath Lab: Scrub, circulate, monitor PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella, Balloon Pump EP: Pace and burn monitoring, tilt table studies, cardioversion Vascular: Carotid & peripheral interventions, PFA, Watchman device Equipment: Siemens & GE Radiation Badge: Required (must be provided by agency; facility does not provide) Hospital & Unit Highlights Beds: 396 Charting: EPIC MAC Lab Scrubs: Hospital-issued Parking: Free Hurricane Season: June–November; peak in August–September. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during this period. Scheduling Notes Block scheduling may be accommodated upon approval Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks All RTO requests must be submitted at time of submission
